Cast comps for the school play
Add 30 cast-family comps. They get QR tickets. Scanner counts them in.
Manual attendee entry for walk-ups, comp tickets for staff and sponsors, will-call lookups at the door — without leaving the dashboard.
What hurts
Most platforms treat the database of paid tickets as the source of truth, and everything else lives in a spreadsheet someone forgot to bring to the door. Comp tickets, sponsor lists, day-of additions — they're all real attendees, but they don't get the dignity of a real QR code.
How Jamrats handles it
Add an attendee manually from the dashboard: name, email, ticket type, optional comp flag. They get a Jamrats-branded email with a real QR — same scanner, same anti-double-scan protection.
Will-call lookups in the scanner: search by name or email if the buyer can't find their email. Manually check in someone whose order you can see but who lost their phone.
Sponsor tiers as private (link-only) ticket types: configure once, share the URL with sponsors, and they self-serve their tickets without a public listing.
